Wella Koleston Perfect is the permanent hair color from Wella Professionals for the salon. At Dr.Kalla, you will find Koleston Perfect in 133 shades of 60 ml each – from Pure Naturals and Rich Naturals to Vibrant Reds and Deep Browns, as well as Special Blonde and Special Mix –, the Welloxon Perfect developer in a 1-liter container, and a blonde toning cream. How is Koleston Perfect mixed?

According to Wella, Koleston Perfect is mixed 1:1 with Welloxon Perfect, for example, 60 g of color with 60 ml of developer, with a development time of 30 to 40 minutes without heat. Special Blonde shades are mixed 1:2 (60 g with 120 ml) and require 50 to 60 minutes without heat. Wella recommends an allergy test 48 hours before every coloration.

Which Welloxon strength is the right one?

Wella provides the following guidelines: 6% for grey coverage, same depth, darker or one level lighter; 9% for two levels and 12% for three levels of lift. 4% is intended for the same depth or darker without grey coverage. With Special Blonde, Wella states you can achieve four to five levels of lift with 12%, and three levels with 9%.

How do I read the Koleston Perfect numbers?

The number before the slash represents the color depth, and the digits after represent the color tone. Shades starting with 12, such as 12-0, 12-1, or 12-89, belong to the Special Blondes for high lift.
